Legacy 27 reminds us that we all have a legacy to leave behind.
Live Like Aiden
About
Legacy 27 is local non-profit in Walton County, Georgia.
We celebrate the life and the passions of Aiden Kimsey, and we honor the Legacy he leaves behind. His legacy, all 10 years of it, reminds us how impactful we can be with the time God gives us, when we let our passions meet God’s purpose.
Our mission is to Live Like Aiden and our core areas are Faith, Football, and Fishing.
Faith to share Aiden’s love of the one true God, his son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Because of Aiden’s faith, we know for sure we will see him again.
Football was Aiden’s 1st love in sports. He was #27. He played and watched many sports and we host events in honor of this and to have entertaining fundraising events to support and give back to youth sports in our community.
Fishing was an integral part of Aiden’s daily life, as we have a pond. He fished everyday, including the day he died. Fishing connects us to nature, creation and our Creator. Fishing is one of the many outdoor activities Aiden loved and we honor this and encourage others to take up fishing and time outdoors to make us better people.
How We Do this?
We partner with local schools and athletic associations to support kids who want to play football, but have a financial hardship.
We award scholarships to football players graduating high school, who embody the passions and characteristics of Aiden.
We partner with local schools to support families in need, especially around the holidays.
We host annual events including our kids fishing tournament on Good Friday, flag football tournaments, golf tournaments, even a homerun derby.
Last, but certainly not least, we share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
